DESCRIPTION:During the town hall\, Rise will share updates on the state budget regarding child care and discuss our policy priorities. We will also review the results of our survey on child care that was completed by parents and caregivers throughout NYC. \nThe purpose of the virtual town hall is to continue to shift the narrative and establish that child care is a family policing issue. In the movement for universal child care\, Rise’s goal is to center parents impacted by the family policing system.
